Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking engineers with a background in chemical or industrial processes to establish and optimize production standards. You will work with methods to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost KPIs, and contribute to documentation updates.

The role emphasizes applying lean manufacturing principles, process mapping, and IATF 16949 Core Tools. Collaboration with quality and production teams is essential for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar.
• 3 or more years of experience in Manufacturing Processes, preferably in automotive industry.
• Process engineering, lean production, manufacturing principles.
• IATF 16949, Core Tools, AMEF and GD&T drawing interpretation.
• ISO 14001, 50001 and 45001 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Established the production standard methods per process flow diagram and control plan.
• Supports training processes according to established standards.
• Develops and maintains SOPs and procedures.
• Assists production to solve process issues affecting key KPIs (SQDC).
• Assists quality to solve issues and drives improvements from internal and external sources.
