Job summary

Freudenberg seeks an experienced Chemical Engineer for polyurethane development and production support in our Mexico operations. You will lead process improvements, mentor setup teams, and ensure material quality through rigorous testing and documentation.

Collaborate with development chemists to implement efficiency gains, reduce waste, and meet customer specifications. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, leadership, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Chemical Engineer or similar degree.
• 4+ years in Microcellular Urethane and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with assembly lines, automated stations, PLCs, robots or cobots.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, Core Tools, AMEF and GD&T drawing interpretation.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop polyurethane recipes.
• Provide technical support for production and update technical documents.
• Lead and train new employees in chemical processes.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and ensure quality.
