Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee the coordination of maintenance and equipment deployment across multiple sites. You will ensure safety, compliance with ISO standards, and continuous improvement of production processes.

The role involves evaluating equipment, planning parts stocking, and leading skilled technicians through innovative technology adoption. The candidate should have a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering or closely related degree coupled with 8+ years of experience.
• Five or more years related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of installation, maintenance, and operation of all equipment used in the assembly.
• PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to improve the production process.
• Ensures all machines, equipment, and activities are safe and in accordance with all applicable company and government rules and guidelines.
• Reviews serial equipment at or before EOP for multiple sites regionally and determines OES production process.
• Develops, as possible, flexible multi part low volume equipment to reduce floorspace utilization.
• Observe all Environmental Work Practices as they apply to your specific department.
• Supervise the maintenance and repair of manufacturing facility and equipment.
• Research each machine and process to provide specific requirements for component replacement or repair, spare part's stocking, and contingency plans to provide uninterrupted service.
• Evaluate maintenance personnel on performance, training skills, and focus on their continuous improvement.
• Trains maintenance and tooling technicians as new technologies are introduced into production.
• Install all new equipment and relocate existing equipment as required.
• Ensures all machines, equipment, and activities are safe and in accordance with all applicable company and government rules and guidelines.
• Performs necessary measures to adhere to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
