Elastic is seeking a proactive Platform Engineering Productivity lead to own CI/CD and release infrastructure across environments. You’ll shape the technical vision, identify bottlenecks, and drive secure, scalable pipelines while guiding multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in CI/CD and hardening release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
Strong debugging instincts across the full pipeline stack from test runner to deployment.

Responsibilities

Define the roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD, from problem identification through org-wide adoption.
Identify bottlenecks, friction, or security risks in CI/CD and drive remediation.
Design and enforce release gates for supply chain integrity and release readiness at scale.
Direct engineers on multi-quarter projects and own outcomes, even when execution is distributed.
Drive clear technical communication and high-quality documentation across teams.
Act as Incident Commander on high-severity supply chain or release incidents to improve structure.
Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design reviews, and setting standards.
Remain hands-on at the right depth, reviewing code and prototyping approaches as needed.
