Job summary

Cforge Coforge is seeking a Release Engineer to define and support release processes and tools for mission-critical services. You will work in a collaborative environment, influencing infrastructure strategy and building scalable solutions across teams in Hermosillo or Mexico City.

This onsite role reports to the Release Engineering team. The position requires 4+ years in enterprise software release management, strong GitHub and Jenkins expertise, and familiarity with SDLC and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of enterprise software release experience
• Experience with release management disciplines and processes
• Strong GitHub proficiency and PR workflow experience
• Jenkins job/pipeline management experience
• Nice to have: Python scripting
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, QA, and Test Automation teams
• Coordinate Bi-weekly Production releases with cross-functional teams
• Develop self-service tools for automated production deployments with quality controls
• Leverage Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence APIs to streamline workflows
• Migrate applications from Datacenter to AWS with DevOps
• Automate release and compliance processes
• Troubleshoot builds, deployments, and connectivity issues
