Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve shared cloud platform services used across product teams. You will treat the platform as a product by delivering reusable building blocks, paved roads, and a consistent developer experience aligned with CCoE standards.

Responsibilities include designing reusable platform capabilities, operating centralized services, and coordinating with DevOps to codify interfaces in IaC and pipelines, while prioritizing security

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on cloud engineering with a product mindset.
• Deep AWS expertise across compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Experience with EKS, ECS, Lambda, EC2, and RDS.
• Strong security-by-design practices, IAM roles, SSO/OAuth.
• Ability to define platform APIs and collaborate with DevOps/IaC teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and client focus.
• English at B2+ level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable platform capabilities to enable onboarding of workloads.
• Operate and improve centralized services like logging, monitoring, and key management.
• Create paved roads and golden paths with product teams and security.
• Coordinate with Cloud DevOps to codify interfaces in IaC and pipelines
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Represent client voice to prioritize platform features and investments.
• Verify platform with security, compliance, and enterprise guardrails.
