Job summary

Citigroup in Mexico City seeks an experienced Ops Senior Manager to lead a team delivering operations support aligned with Citi infrastructure and processes. You will ensure seamless service delivery and drive staff performance, onboarding, AML/KYC compliance, and risk-aware decision making, while guiding policy and budgeting efforts.

The role requires 6–10 years in financial services, strong leadership, and the ability to operate with limited supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required; master's preferred.
6-10 years of experience in Financial Services; commercial banking related experience is an advantage.
Working knowledge of Client Onboarding, AML, and KYC requirements.
Experience with Systematics, Filenet, Citi KYC, WFM and Commercial Liability Products.

Responsibilities

Manage professional teams and departments through delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
Conduct performance evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and maintain staffing requirements.
Monitor team quality and efficiency; manage training and development needs.
Create and develop budget, policy formation and short-term resource planning.
Manage complex issues with significant departmental impact.
Provide SME guidance to senior stakeholders and team members.
Assess risk in business decisions; ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
