Job summary

Citi is seeking a GOV Relationship Manager in Mexico City to deepen client relationships and deliver tailored banking solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to provide sophisticated advisory and ensure compliant onboarding and KYC processes.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience, strong credit and banking product knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive cross-sell opportunities and superior client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process and ability to provide sound banking and financial advice.
• Demonstrates credit skills by structuring complex deals including capital market transactions.
• Demonstrates advanced Early Warning Detection skills.
• Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owns and responds to needs, roadblocks or risks.
• Introduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio.
• Works with product specialists to structure innovative solutions.
• Coordinates onboarding and KYC compliance with Case Manager.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen share of wallet.
• Maximizes client experience by sharing market updates and trends.
