Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an experienced Sr NPI Engineer to transfer engineering information to production and support industrialization of large chillers. You will liaise with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Production to ensure technical accuracy and controlled engineering changes.

Responsibilities include validating BOMs, drawings and specs, interpreting schematics, leading manufacturability reviews and coordinating cross-functional teams across the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Product Engineering, NPI, industrialization or project management.
• Advanced English; ability to coordinate with global teams.
• Experience interpreting BOMs, drawings, GD&T, specs and 3D CAD models.
• Proven experience leading prototype builds, pilot runs and production readiness.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for chiller manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure engineering data is reflected in BOMs, drawings, specs and 3D models.
• Interpret electrical/control schematics to support assembly and validation.
• Lead manufacturability reviews and translate site requirements into actions.
• Coordinate MCS activities, prototype builds, pilot runs, SOP and Safe Launch.
• Maintain PFEP, production readiness, risks, stage gates and exit criteria.
• Support assembly, testing, release and ramp-up; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Use structured problem solving (A3, 8D, 5 Whys) to address issues.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and global stakeholders.
