Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a seasoned Quality Engineering professional to drive end-to-end quality for Heat Exchangers, Valves & Tubing CIPT. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality to identify risks and lead corrective actions from design to production readiness.

You will manage APQP/PPAP activities, review FPY data, and ensure robust control plans and measurement systems are in place. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Quality, manufacturing, engineering or new product development activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC and structured problem-solving methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and product requirements.
• Experience with heat exchangers, valves, tubing, brazing, welding, leak testing or similar manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the NPD Quality lead for the CIPT area, including heat exchangers, valves, tubing, brazing, welding and leak testing.
• Provide end-to-end Quality ownership from early product development through production launch.
• Drive Quality activities across design reviews, PPAP readiness and production launch.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and other cross-functional teams to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Drive Quality readiness for brazing, welding, leak testing, inspection and other manufacturing processes.
• Review FPY, defects, test failures, rework and other build data to identify issues and support corrective action.
• Track Quality readiness and open risks for assigned programs and communicate gaps to CIPT and program teams.
• Apply lessons learned to prevent repeat issues.
