3217 Carrier México, S.A. de C.V. seeks a Sr NPI Engineer to drive industrialization and continued improvement of large chillers. You will ensure engineering data—BOMs, drawings, specs—are accurate before production and provide shop-floor support during ramp-up.

Join cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain, interpret electrical schematics, and lead manufacturability reviews and change-management to ensure product readiness and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Product Engineering, NPI, industrialization, or manufacturing project management.
• Advanced English proficiency for global coordination.
• Experience interpreting BOMs, engineering drawings, GD&T, specs, and 3D CAD models.
• Experience leading prototype builds, pilot runs, and production readiness activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering support for chiller manufacturing and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Validate that engineering and design information is reflected in BOMs, drawings, specifications, 3D models, and documentation prior to production.
• Review electrical and control schematics to support assembly and validation; up to 850 ton chillers for Air-Cooled assignments.
• Lead manufacturability reviews and coordinate site-specific requirements and actions.
• Coordinate PFEP, production readiness, risks, stage gates, action plans, and exit criteria.
• Provide direct technical support during assembly, testing, launch, and ramp-up; document findings and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Maintain traceability of decisions, risks, changes, and lessons learned.
