Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Master Planner to manage all planning activities for a dedicated workcell and mentor junior planners. You will drive 100% on-time delivery, establish build readiness, and maintain accurate MPS and PO coverage.

You will own BOM/routing development, material control, and capacity analysis, coordinating with manufacturing teams to optimize schedules and minimize changeovers while ensuring adherence to contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree with 5+ years of planning experience or Master\'s with 3+ years in manufacturing planning.
• APICS certification is preferred and beneficial.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times, and BOMs is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP system with PO coverage.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly to avoid over/under supply.
• Maintain material control and liability and ensure BOM accuracy for planning.
• Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to Workcell and customer.
• Lead the creation of Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings for accurate WIP tracking.
• Drive 100% on-time delivery and maintain 95% MPS goals.
• Manage end-to-end planning processes and ensure 100% valid POs before production.
