Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Test Engineer to drive test solutions for high-quality electronic systems. You will analyze equipment, design and adapt test methods, and ensure production efficiency while collaborating with global leaders in English and Spanish.

The role requires a university degree in Electronic/Mechatronic engineering with 3–5+ years of experience, strong English, and advanced Excel skills. Occasional travel to the United States may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering, or a related technical field and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Proficient Conversational and written English required.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes equipment and conducts tests to establish operating data.
• Performs engineering duties including installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure projects are completed on-time and as per defined goals.
• Determines material and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.
• Develops or performs operational, maintenance and testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
• Manage activities for the manufacture, installation, maintenance, operation, or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.
