Job summary

Collins Aerospace Mexicali is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to drive reliability and quality systems across our product lines. You will lead quality programs, apply Lean Six Sigma and RCCA methodologies, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and suppliers to prevent defects and improve processes.

You will use tools like PFMEA, MSA, process flow and control plans, ensure PPAP readiness, and influence design for quality while working in a global team with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge & SAP domain.
• Proficient English required.

Responsibilities

• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Explain testing/inspection plans to ensure reliability and conformance.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Utilize UPPAP core elements to identify risk and propose risk management solutions.
• Review and ensure work transfer and process change management requirements.
