Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee daily operations in an assembly environment, driving production goals with quality and cost targets.

The role requires strong Lean/Six Sigma background, 8 years in manufacturing with 5+ in leadership, and hands-on SMT process knowledge (Pick and Place, Solder Paste, AOI, ICT). Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and occasional US travel may be required.

Formación

• University degree in manufacturing, electronics, mechanical or related engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience in SMT processes: Pick and Place, Solder Paste, Panel routing, AOI, ICT.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience leading Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing programs.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development.

Responsabilidades

• Held accountable for daily operation and meeting production goals in an assembly or similar area.
• Implements production plans and provides feedback on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and staffing.
• Ensures timely, high-quality production at the lowest cost within quality requirements.
• Leads production team to meet quality, schedule and cost expectations; manages budgets.
• Develops daily production plans and executes projects with cross-functional teams; manages resources to deadlines.
