Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, Mexico seeks a Product Quality Engineer II to drive quality systems and design-for-quality initiatives. You will lead cross-functional efforts to implement RCCA, PFMEA, MSA and UPPAP, influencing product design and process improvements across a global environment.

Expect collaboration with design and manufacturing teams, and opportunities to travel to the United States as needed. English and Spanish proficiency are required for reports and communications.

Competenze

• Typically requires a University Degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is required.
• GD&T knowledge is expected.
• Proficient English is required.

Mansioni

• Modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Explain testing plans and methods to ensure reliability and conformance.
• Analyze nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Use UPPAP core elements to identify risk and propose mitigation.
• Review work transfer and PPAP acceptance documentation.
