Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, MX is seeking an engineering leader for manufacturing process design and optimization. You will drive technology transfer from research to production, collaborate with pilot plants and production teams, and lead a skilled team of manufacturing engineers to meet quality and budget goals.

Role requires 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, proficiency in English and Spanish, and experience with Six Sigma/Lean.

Formación

• University degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership.
• Experience leading Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated success coordinating Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficient technology transfer from R&D to production.
• Collaborate with pilot plant and production teams to establish cost-effective mass production procedures.
• Conduct tests and troubleshooting during production to control variables and resolve issues.
• Evaluate field support needs and advise on tools, test equipment, and materials.
• Lead and mentor manufacturing engineers to uphold quality and production standards.
• Develop and monitor operating budgets to maximize cost-efficiency while ensuring standards.
