Job summary

BMW Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner Advanced Specialist to lead ramp-up activities for the Battery Plant production system in San Luis Potosí. You will work with a highly motivated production team on Gen 6 energy module welding technologies, focusing on error analysis, availability, and process optimization.

You will plan maintenance activities, manage spare parts, and use SAP for maintenance tasks while collaborating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Expert with welding technologies in an industrial environment.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance or related manufacturing fields.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful ramp-up of Battery Plant production system within Maintenance team for welding technologies.
• Maintain and analyze production lines; plan maintenance activities; manage spare parts and materials.
• Partner with maintenance, controls and methodology to optimize processes and systems.
• Use SAP and other maintenance systems for tasks.
• Support suppliers and inform associates about technical changes after system updates.
• Develop new projects with other departments focusing on line optimization.
