Job summary

BMW Group in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the successful ramp-up of the Battery Plant production system within the maintenance team. You will lead people, manage resources, solve problems, and oversee quality and production capability improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in an engineering field, 3+ years in industrial maintenance or automotive project management, strong communication and leadership, and fluent business English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or project management (preferably automotive).
• Strong leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.

Responsibilities

• Manage people and resources, solve problems, ensure quality and improve production capability (cycle time, optimization).
• Implement BMW work organization (VPS methods) and continuous improvement processes.
• Supervise production processes in terms of quality, quantity and costs; act as team leader for production associates.
• Instruct, assign tasks and ensure correct start-up of production.
