Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior Lean Engineer to drive Lean transformation and cultural change across manufacturing operations in the Mexicali region. You will lead cross-functional teams, guide Lean initiatives, and deliver sustainable productivity gains through standardized methodologies.

The role requires strong experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering.
• 5+ years in Lean Engineering, CI, or Operational Excellence.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience leading cross-functional CI projects.
• Proficient in DMAIC tools and data-driven reporting.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive Lean improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain a 3–5 year Lean roadmap aligned with plant goals.
• Serve as SME in Value Stream Mapping and Lean methodologies.
• Select and implement Lean tools to meet long-term goals.
• Monitor progress and report status, risks, and actions to leadership.
• Deliver presentations in English and Spanish communicating results.
