Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead development and improvement of core manufacturing processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement step-change technologies and drive continuous improvement.

The role demands 5+ years in manufacturing process engineering, Green Belt at minimum, and strong English for global collaboration. Expect travel up to 20% and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of hands on experience in manufacturing process engineering in an industrial or maquiladora environment.
• Active Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt or Lean Belt certification is a strong advantage.
• Solid command of statistical tools: DOE, GR&R, process capability analysis, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodology; project management experience required.
• Advanced English proficiency (80%+) required for technical communication with global teams and suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, coach engineers, and drive results across cross-functional groups.
• Ability to travel up to 20% based on project and business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment across full project lifecycle.
• Apply Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Lean methodologies with statistical tools to build deep process understanding and robust performance.
• Manage project workstreams and external partners to deliver integrated process systems on time and budget.
• Support root cause analysis and resolution; lead process qualification plans; promote safe Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
