Corning Mexico is seeking a Senior Lean Engineer to lead continuous improvement across production and support areas. You will drive waste reduction, standard work, line balancing, and cost savings using Lean methods and data-driven decisions.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will coach Kaizen events, 5S, Gemba walks, and process capability improvement while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Lean Manufacturing, CI, or Operational Excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and CI methodologies.
• Experience with Time Studies, OBC analysis, Standard Work, line balancing, and productivity.
• Proven use of KT, 5 Whys, 8D, A3, and DMAIC problem solving.
• Experience leading Kaizen, 5S, and Gemba activities; cost reduction focus.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and cross-functional skills.
• Ability to deliver measurable manufacturing results.
• Advanced English preferred.
• Lean certification and/or Six Sigma belts; training exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead productivity, waste reduction, and cost-saving projects across operations.
• Conduct Time Studies, OBC analysis, Standard Work, and line balancing.
• Facilitate Kaizen, 5S, Gemba walks, and focused improvement projects.
• Apply KT, 5 Whys, 8D, A3, and DMAIC problem solving to issues.
• Monitor execution and sustainment of improvement efforts.
• Support process development and capital project readiness.
• Provide Lean coaching and training on tools and methods.
• Ensure EH&S compliance in all activities.
