Stanley Black & Decker, based in Monterrey, Mexico, seeks an Senior Director of Engineering to lead the Latin America Design Center. You will guide NPI, localization, and lifecycle engineering across multiple sites while partnering with global teams to accelerate innovation and improve delivery performance.

You will oversee product quality, cost and warranty improvements, manage field and factory issues, and develop top engineering talent across sites in Mexico and Texas.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; mechanical, electrical, or related discipline preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering and product development with significant leadership responsibility.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; Portuguese preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Mexico Design Center across multiple sites and oversee PLE teams.
• Drive new product introduction, localization, and lifecycle engineering initiatives.
• Ensure engineering outputs meet quality, cost, timing, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Oversee builds, launch readiness, production ramp-up, and manufacturing stability.
• Champion cost reduction, reliability improvements and warranty reductions through engineering.
