Fortune Brands Innovations in Monterrey, Nuevo León, seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead design and development from concept to launch at our Nuevo Leon Innovation Center. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve products and reduce costs.

Applicants should have a strong background in manufacturing exposure and product development, with bilingual English/Spanish, and willingness to travel internationally.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience including significant manufacturing exposure and product development.
• Valid visa and availability to travel.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with international suppliers preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development engineering on assigned projects from concept to production.
• Lead teams in problem solving and failure analysis.
• Drive manufacturing and assembly processes concurrent to product design to ensure robust designs.
• Interact with Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Designers, Purchasing and suppliers.
• Lead design reviews/DFM/DFMA for new products and mentor team members.
