• Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s).
• Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals.
• Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.
• Implements measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction (e.g., employee engagement surveys, work lifestyle programs, onboarding programs, diversity and inclusion programs and training).
• Manages employee relations issues (e.g., investigate employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance, mediation between employees, monitors diversity/equal employment opportunity program compliance).
• Labor/Union agreement negotiation and administration (e.g., representing the organization in negotiations, interpreting and administering union/labor collective bargaining agreements, monitoring compliance and participating in arbitration).
• Diversity/equal employment opportunity programs, training, and compliance
• May be accountable for employee assistance (EAP) and work/life programs and/or facilities
