Jobtailor seeks an experienced HSE leader to drive safety and environmental programs across the MX96 site in Mexico. You will partner with management to embed a strong safety culture, manage emergency planning, and monitor performance using data-driven metrics.

The role requires 5+ years in HSE, knowledge of ISO/OSHA standards, and ability to influence across functions while coordinating with regional teams.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environmental management within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards.
  • Advanced English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, compliance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards.
  • Regulatory compliance and risk management expertise in Mexico.
  • Leadership and influencing skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide support and influence senior management and all personnel to reinforce HSE leadership and ensure HSE is prioritized alongside business objectives.
  • Foster an organizational culture centered on HSE and collaborate with managers to elevate HSE maturity.
  • Collaborate with managers across all levels to promote ownership and leadership in HSE responsibilities.
  • Create, evaluate, and manage emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
  • Analyze data trends to monitor and report on HSE performance.
  • Lead HSE programs, initiatives, and performance metrics for the MX96 site.
  • Establish working relationships with employees, managers, customers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary HSE subject matter expert, providing guidance and technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Honeywell Operating System principles, risk reduction initiatives, and best-in-class HSE practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance audits, and corrective action programs.
  • Analyze HSE performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead employee engagement activities, safety campaigns, and training programs.
  • Identify and implement solutions enhancing workplace safety, employee well-being, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
  • Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and corporate assessments, ensuring timely closure of findings and action plans.
  • Collaborate with regional and global HSE teams to deploy initiatives, share best practices, and drive standardization.
