Oferta confidencial in Tecate, Mexico seeks an EHS Leader to drive environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead audits, manage health services, and collaborate with operations and HR to build a culture of safety.

Travel up to 25% and engage with local and international stakeholders to advance sustainable practices and risk reduction.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Mexican occupational safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience managing regulatory inspections, audits, permits, and compliance programs.
Background in occupational health, industrial hygiene, risk assessments, and incident prevention.
Experience leading cross-functional safety initiatives and driving compliance improvements.
English proficiency sufficient to participate in meetings, audits, presentations, and interactions with global stakeholders.
Availability to travel approximately 10-25%, including occasional international travel.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Lead site EHS programs and drive risk reduction and employee well-being.
Coordinate and maintain site safety audits and compliance standards.
Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and support inspections.
Oversee occupational health and medical services programs.
Conduct facility inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations; ensure corrective actions.
Monitor EHS performance indicators and develop improvement strategies.
Lead environmental and sustainability projects to reduce impact.
Coordinate safety training programs for employees at all levels.
Support contractor and supplier evaluations related to safety and compliance.
Collaborate with Operations, HR, Facilities, and site leadership to promote safety culture.
Supervise and develop EHS team members and achieve department objectives.
