Emerson in Mexico is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety, hygiene and environmental initiatives in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on risk reduction, training, incident investigation, and ensuring compliance with local and corporate regulations.

The candidate will coordinate emergency planning, audits, and KPI tracking while managing contractor EHS performance and liaising with authorities.

Formación

• Education: Industrial or related engineering.
• Knowledge: Regulations STPS, SEMARNAT, Civil Protection; Safety & Hygiene; Environment; Incident/Accident Investigation; Root Cause Analysis.
• Desirable: NFPA, OSHAS.
• Work Experience: At least 5 years as an EHS Manager in manufacturing plants.
• Advanced English and computer proficiency in Office and EHS platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, implement and follow up on actions to reduce risks to personnel and the environment.
• Ensure Safety, Hygiene and Environmental training for plant personnel and stakeholders (contractors, suppliers).
• Investigate the causes of accidents and establish corrective actions with reports.
• Ensure compliance with Local and Corporate Safety/Hygiene/Environment regulations.
• Review, analyze and authorize high-risk work permits.
• Coordinate Emergency Response Plan and security guidelines.
• Report EHS status to Emerson Corporate.
• Monitor compliance with EMERSON and CTPAT requirements.
• Supervise contractor compliance with EHS standards.
• Update and implement local and corporate EHS procedures and formats.
• EHS matrix management and risk prevention planning.
• Coordinate safety and environmental audits and KPI tracking.
• Maintain liaison with authorities for regulatory updates.
• Define roles and responsibilities within the team.
