Maersk is seeking an HSSE Manager for Mexico City to lead Health, Safety, Security and Environment across warehousing and transportation operations nationwide.

You will manage a team of HSSE professionals, partner with site leaders and senior stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Mexican HSSE regulations, driving improvements and investigations with a strong focus on people safety and environmental performance. This role requires influencing across functions and regular travel to sites.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment roles.
• Background in warehousing, transportation, logistics or distribution environments.
• Leading people and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
• Solid knowledge of Mexican HSSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Fluent Spanish and English (business proficiency).

Responsabilidades

• Lead HSSE strategy for warehousing and transportation across Mexico.
• Act as the country HSSE lead, aligning with Maersk global policies and local legal requirements.
• Manage and develop a team of HSSE Business Partners across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican HSSE regulations, internal standards, and external audits.
• Lead investigations of HSSE incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Embed HSSE into daily operations through collaboration with site leaders and functions.
• Influence senior stakeholders to prioritize safety and environmental performance alongside business results.
• Support rollout of HSSE policies, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as needed.
• Travel regularly to warehouses and depots nationwide (~30%).
