Delinea, building StrongDM, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Mexico City, contributing to a secure, scalable backend platform. You will work on Go-based distributed systems that proxy and broker secure connections at scale, upholding Zero Trust and just‑in‑time access principles.

You’ll design and implement gateways and services, review code, mentor peers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust security features and auditable access controls.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Go, distributed systems, and backend/service development.
• Proficiency with concurrent/programming: goroutines, channels, and Go cryptography libraries.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and API design (gRPC/Protobuf and REST).
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers and cloud-native deployments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a structured team environment and mentor others.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to architecture, design, development, testing and deployment of highly concurrent backend systems in Go.
• Build, deploy, and operate the proxy data plane and control-plane services with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs and DevOps/SRE to define roadmaps and implement solutions.
• Write clean, secure Go code and apply cryptographic primitives (TLS/mTLS) where needed.
• Conduct code/design reviews to maintain performance, security and quality.
• Diagnose issues across distributed multi‑cloud environments and improve reliability.
• Document services, APIs and deployment processes comprehensively.
• Provide technical mentorship and foster continuous improvement.
