Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for a Fulfillment Center in Mexico. You will lead a dynamic team of Managers to ensure operational excellence, manage the budget, and drive safety, productivity, and customer experience objectives.

You will oversee planning across 3, 6, and 12 months, mentor leaders, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to secure resources for initiatives. A senior leadership role with broad scope and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 10+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics
• 10+ years experience with staffing lifecycle (interviews, hiring, performance management, promotions, terminations)
• 10+ years of performance metrics, process improvement/lean techniques

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for the functional area, including safety, productivity, financial planning, labor planning, and goals.
• Long-term planning (3, 6, 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity.
• Leads and mentors Operations and Area Managers to drive engagement and leadership bench strength.
• Networks with leaders across the network to share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Establishes objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
