Job summary

Qualifications

• Prepare domestic documents for shipments.
• Route shipments and determine best transport mode.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and couriers.
• Audit domestic freight bills for accuracy.
• Assist brokerage and provide client support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare domestic documents including airline bills, BOLs, declarations and NAFTA forms.
• Route shipments and evaluate cost/time combinations for domestic and cross-border (Canada) shipments.
• Negotiate rates with motor carriers, freight forwarders and express couriers for domestic shipments.
• Provide brokerage support including import paperwork and shipment tracking.
• Audit freight bills and verify accuracy; assist with quotes and customer inquiries.
