Job summary
Félix, a hyper-growth fintech, is seeking a senior backend engineer to shape the core architecture of our payments, disbursements, or GRC platform. You will build scalable microservices and ensure secure, high-performance operations.
You will collaborate with product, compliance and operations, mentor juniors, and leverage Google Cloud, Kubernetes and REST APIs to deliver reliable financial services for cross-border use.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Software Engineer in fintech or similar fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record building, shipping, and iterating on software in production.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience designing web services and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of security, compliance (KYC/AML), and payments systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend microservices in Payments, Disbursements, or GRC.
- Develop and optimize secure, high-performance financial platforms.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Design infrastructure to handle millions of daily requests with reliability.
