The Senior Engineering Manager for Digital and Integration leads the engineering teams that build customer-facing mobile and web experiences and connect them securely to enterprise services. This role carries both technical and people accountability: setting engineering direction, shaping solution design, developing leaders and teams, and ensuring predictable delivery and resilient operations. You will partner with product, design, API, architecture, data, cybersecurity, operations and business teams to turn the Americas digital roadmap into accessible, high-performing and trusted customer journeys.

Main activities

• Own the engineering strategy and execution roadmap for mobile, web, digital experience layers and the integration components that connect channels to enterprise platforms.
• Guide architecture for responsive web and native or cross-platform mobile applications, backend-for-frontend services, orchestration, events, caching, content delivery and third-party integrations.
• Translate product priorities and customer research into executable engineering plans, balancing speed, quality, accessibility, reuse, regulatory commitments and technical debt.
• Work with the API Platforms leader to define clear service contracts, integration patterns, dependency plans and end-to-end ownership across digital journeys.
• Remain technically engaged through architecture and design reviews, engineering health reviews, critical code or implementation discussions, and leadership during major incidents.
• Embed secure software development, automated testing, continuous delivery, feature management, telemetry and experimentation into the digital delivery lifecycle.
• Own non-functional quality across performance, resilience, accessibility, compatibility, privacy, fraud controls and production support for digital channels.
• Establish effective release, incident, problem and service-management practices, using production insights and customer feedback to drive improvement.
• Evaluate and adopt modern engineering practices, including responsible AI-assisted development and AI-enabled customer experiences, within security and model-risk guardrails.
• Manage engineering budgets, capacity and vendor outcomes, and use metrics to improve flow, quality, reliability and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience, including substantial experience delivering and operating large-scale mobile, web or omnichannel platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple engineering teams and managers in a large, global or matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge of modern web and mobile architecture, distributed systems, API and event integration, cloud platforms, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and site reliability.
• Experience delivering secure, accessible and high-performing customer journeys with measurable product and operational outcomes.
• Track record of modernizing complex estates, managing cross-platform dependencies and sustaining service during significant change.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial judgment, with the ability to make clear trade-offs across product value, risk, time and cost.
