Job summary

Clarios is seeking an Electronics Lead Engineer to drive the design and development of Battery Management System components for low and high‑voltage batteries. You will lead senior engineers, coordinate hardware requirements, and ensure manufacturability and safety across global programs.

Based in Monterrey with hybrid work, you will mentor teams, oversee DFMEA and functional safety activities, and collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to deliver advanced electronics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience in automotive or power electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium) and hardware design.
• Demonstrated technical and project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and execution of electronic products and projects.
• Define hardware requirements aligned with BMS strategies and cost targets.
• Direct design to integrate with software, manufacturing, and battery systems.
• Review hardware analysis plans, test results, and design justification.
