Job summary

Clarios, LLC seeks a Functional Safety Engineer in Monterrey to lead system-level safety for automotive low-battery intelligent systems. You will provide technical leadership, review critical safety work products, and guide cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and systems engineering to ensure ISO 26262 compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive Functional Safety, experience with BMS/energy storage or embedded automotive systems, and familiarity with safety lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 5+ years in Functional Safety for automotive.
Experience with safety lifecycle activities and safety analyses.

Responsibilities

Owns and drives system-level Functional Safety engineering for low battery - intelligent systems development projects.
Provides technical leadership and independent review of safety work products (HARA, Safety Concepts, Safety Requirements, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA).
Guides cross-functional teams in safety requirements and safety mechanisms.
