Job summary

Clarios, LLC seeks an Electronics Lead Engineer to drive the design of Battery Management System components for low and high-voltage batteries and supercapacitors. Based in Monterrey with hybrid work, you’ll lead senior engineers, coordinate with software and manufacturing, and champion safe, innovative electrical solutions.

You’ll mentor teams, influence hardware strategy, and contribute to manufacturing readiness and cost targets across global programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of engineering experience.
Experience with OE Automotive or Tier 1 Powertrain electronics.
Proficient in schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium) and circuit debugging/testing.
Demonstrated technical and project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design, analysis and execution of electronic products, meeting hardware requirements.
Define hardware requirements aligned with BMS strategies, targets and cost goals.
Drive design with software, manufacturing, and battery systems integration.
Review hardware analysis plans, test results, and design justifications for production launches.
Lead manufacturability, testability, and electronics manufacturing compatibility.
Facilitate DFMEA and functional safety activities within the BMS.
Act as technical lead in design reviews and coordinate with teams and OEMs.
Mentor engineers and provide direction on design issues.
Support new business quoting and cost/scope assessments.
Promote innovation and system integration using advanced design methods.
