Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to join our expanding team. You will design scalable cloud architectures, manage CI/CD pipelines, and enforce security and reliability best practices across complex systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps, strong AWS expertise, IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and excellent collaboration skills to work with US clients. Remote work is supported from the Mexico region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-focused mindset with vulnerability scanning and compliance practices.
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and operate scalable DevOps/SRE pipelines.
• Oversee deployment automation, rollback drills, and reliability improvements.
• Ensure security and compliance in cloud environments (SOC 2/GDPR as applicable).
• Collaborate with clients across regions and overlap US business hours.
• Mentor peers and drive best practices across large, complex systems.
