Job summary

Bluelight is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps engineer to join our expanding team. You will work on high-availability AWS-based systems, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and manage CI/CD pipelines and rollout strategies across US and LATAM clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps roles, strong AWS expertise (ECS/Fargate, Aurora/PostgreSQL, RDS, S3), and a security-first mindset. Excellent collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with deployment automation and rollback testing.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
• Experience with load testing and latency/SLO management.
• Security-focused: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, hardening practices.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
