Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy with a footprint across the United States and the Americas, seeks a DevOps/SRE specialist to join its rapidly growing team in a remote-capable role. You will contribute to challenging projects, developing scalable, secure systems on AWS, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining observability and incident response practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with deployment automation and rollback drills.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar).
Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and latency/SLOs.
Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and hardening practices.
Experience supporting SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
Background working with large, complex systems.
Ability to overlap US business hours.
Bachelor's degree required.
