Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding its team with a senior DevOps/SRE professional. You will design, build, and operate scalable AWS-based infrastructure, implement Terraform and CloudFormation-based IaC, and drive automated deployment pipelines with robust rollback and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production PostgreSQL/Aurora experience with multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and ECS/Fargate; CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback paths.
• Observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
• Security-focused with vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• SOC 2 audit support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and RCA.
• Experience with large, complex systems and overlapping US hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership and accountability.
• Client-focused and proactive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
