Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment. This role requires 4+ years of DevOps/SRE experience and hands-on with IaC, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD tooling.

You will own pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters across clouds, implement security controls, and lead incident response while collaborating with developers across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps/SRE experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and Docker-based workflows.
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash/Go; SQL skills; cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Observability stacks: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog.
• Cloud security and PCI-compliant environments; on-call readiness; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code for AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; implement automated rollbacks.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads; manage autoscaling, ingress, secrets, policies.
• Build observability dashboards and alerting; ensure PCI-aware patterns and security controls.
• Lead incident response with runbooks and blameless post-mortems; reduce toil.
• Collaborate with developers on local dev experience and internal platform tooling.
