Job summary

BAT Mexico is seeking a Demand Planning Senior Manager in Monterrey to own the development and implementation of robust demand forecasting strategies. You will use data analytics, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to anticipate product demand, minimize inventories, and ensure timely delivery.

Reporting to the Demand Planning Lead, you will help align the forecasting framework with North America region goals, drive improved forecast accuracy, and support profitability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in domain, senior partner management and project management in a large-scale organisation.

Responsibilities

• Build the vital tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning and ad-hoc requests.
• Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the Regional guidelines.
• Handle forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy and coordinate local forecasting process, co build short and mid-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing team.
• Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customers vision, expected exceptional, guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles).
• Co-operate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand the product availability and coming Marketing activities.
• Consolidate the product-level forecasts from the sales teams.
• Provide visibility on product performance and reveal a trend towards lower or higher margin products for management team for fact-based decision making.
• Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer needs.
