Job summary

British American Tobacco Mexico is seeking a Demand Planning Executive in Monterrey to drive accurate forecasting and demand planning processes. The role collaborates with Sales and Marketing to align short- and mid-term demand plans, consolidates forecasts by product, and supports improvements in planning tools and models.

The ideal candidate has strong data tools experience, a background in engineering/ statistics/ economics/ mathematics or MBA, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• Experience with data tools, demand planning software and forecasting models.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or MBA.
• Knowledge of SCM End-to-End and planning tools (JDA, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle).
• 2+ years of stakeholder management and project management in a large organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making in changing environments.
• High discipline in data and documentation management; coaching.
• Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
• SQL and Power BI proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build tools/models to support monthly and annual demand forecasting, as well as ad-hoc requests.
• Provide accurate and timely analysis of volume performance to facilitate demand forecasting.
• Manage the forecasting process and improve the accuracy of the forecast.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop a short- and medium-term demand plan.
• Consolidate forecasts at product level from sales teams.
• Develop and train technical and management skills of team leaders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the demand planning process.
• Supervise actual sales performance against forecast and manage corrective actions.
