AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to operate and enhance a Snowflake-based enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, manage production Snowflake warehouses, and collaborate with Cloud/DevOps and Analytics teams.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, hands-on Snowflake and dbt, AWS data services, Argo Workflows on Kubernetes, Python, and SQL, with strict Pacific Time availability.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake design, performance, and troubleshooting in production.
• Deep dbt experience for transformations, testing, lineage, and deployment.
• Experience with AWS data services, especially S3, and ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python or similar language for data tooling.
• Strong data modeling, dependencies, schema evolution, and data quality.
• Experience with observability, logging, alerting, and incident management for production data platforms.
• Fluent English communication and ability to work with stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Provide senior technical ownership for Data Platform operations during LatAm hours.
• Manage Snowflake production and non-production environments, tuning and cost controls.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and auditing.
• Operate ingestion pipelines (Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines).
• Design and maintain dbt models across RAW/ CURATED/ CONSUMPTION layers with testing and CI/CD.
• Support S3 data-lake workflows and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps for Kubernetes-hosted workloads.
• Define data quality, observability, and alerting standards.
• Lead/participate in major data incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Support Tableau Cloud operations when needed.
• Identify standardization and automation opportunities, and drive cost improvements.
• Follow service-management workflows for incidents and changes.
• Create runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and ensure effective handoffs.
