AgileEngine, a leading software development company, is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate needs into robust data transformations using dbt and SQL.

You will build data pipelines with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Python, and work with tools like GitHub and VS Code, aligning with governance and optimization standards while partnering with product managers and analysts.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in production environments.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Thrives in a process-light environment similar to a data science team.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and product managers during planning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for fast-paced, business-facing needs.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL, including revenue data aggregation from multiple platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python; document transitions into dbt catalogs.
• Leverage AI tools within development workflows and collaborate with leadership to improve governance and adoption.
• Partner with product managers, data visualization leads, and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data and uphold quality standards.
