AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment, joining a people-first team delivering enterprise-grade analytics for Fortune 500 brands.

You will own the Data Platform service tower during LatAm hours, optimize Snowflake warehouses, manage data ingestion with Fivetran/HVR, build robust dbt models, ensure data quality, security, and observability, and mentor mid-level engineers while collaborating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake design, performance, access patterns and production troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL skills and deep dbt experience for transformation, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with managed ingestion tools like Fivetran or HVR and custom pipelines.
• Hands-on with AWS data services, especially S3 and ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership of the Data Platform during LatAm hours.
• Operate and improve Snowflake production and non-production environments.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready practices.
• Manage ingestion pipelines and schema changes, backfills, and dependencies.
• Design and maintain reliable pipelines and dbt models across RAW/ CURATED/ CONSUMPTION layers.
• Support S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps for Argo Workflows and Kubernetes workloads.
• Improve data quality, observability, and monitoring; lead major incidents.
