AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform within a regulated healthcare environment, supporting LatAm coverage.

You will own data processing from ingestion to consumption, implement testing, governance, and CI/CD, and mentor engineers while partnering with Cloud/DevOps and analytics teams. You will drive data quality, observability, and incident resolution, collaborating across the data stack and ensuring secure, scalable pipeline

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake experience including data-layer design and production troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and dbt expertise for transformation, testing, documentation, lineage, and deployment.
• Experience operating Fivetran or HVR and supporting custom ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services, especially S3, and event/file-based ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Strong data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality practices.
• Experience with observability, logging, alerting, and incident management.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication; ability to lead and mentor.

Mansioni

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve Snowflake production and non-production environments and configurations.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
• Manage data ingestion across Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows and Kubernetes-hosted data workloads.
• Define and improve data quality and observability standards.
• Lead major data incidents and perform root-cause analysis for preventive actions.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
