AgileEngine, a leading software partner, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

You will create Bronze/Silver/Gold data models, provision resources with Terraform, and enforce HIPAA-aligned data handling and Snowflake RBAC.

Formación

• Hands-on data engineering with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven Snowflake administration and performance tuning experience.
• SQL and data modeling fundamentals with Kimball/Dim design and SCD management.
• Experience with SQLMesh or DBT in warehouse-centric architectures.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines from enterprise sources into Snowflake (ADF, Event Hub, ADLS Gen2).
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage all platform infrastructure via Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for testing and multi-environment releases.
• Enforce data governance, including Snowflake RBAC, row-level security, and HIPAA considerations.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure Private Endpoints, Private Link).
• Build observability with Datadog or equivalent for pipeline health and data lineage.
• Develop production-grade Python utilities for ingestion, data quality, and integrations.
• Apply Agile practices with stakeholders and document standards.
