AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative, building Snowflake semantic structures, cleaning and transforming datasets, and developing AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake, and collaborate directly with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL with window functions and semi-structured data
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and testing
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to collaborate with business partners, ask clarifying questions, and translate needs into technical specs
• Rigorous documentation of data models, dictionaries, and code comments
• Upper-intermediate English level required

Responsabilidades

• Model and transform data inside Snowflake for the Customer Data Platform (CDP)
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata for AI readiness and BI (Sigma)
• Prepare datasets for retail initiatives and ad-hoc analytics
• Write production-grade SQL and Python scripts for transformation and wrangling
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requests into clean data models
• Parse and flatten complex semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads)
• Maintain data models and semantic views and keep thorough documentation
• Manage code in Git and follow testing protocols
• Support additional analytics engineering priorities as needed
